We purchased the Arlo with 1 camera. Wanted to be sure that this is what we want. If we like the set up we would purchase more cameras. After setting the system up I am not very happy with it. In order for the camera to pick up motion you just about have to walk about 4 feet in front of it before it picks up motion. We have tried moving camera per directions up about 7 feet and also set the sensativity on it. What are we doing wrong? At this point I am very frustrated with the product and thinking of taking it back to store.

Can someone give you insight on this product so we can do some troubleshooting and try to set this up correctly.

Ok... first turn up the sense level to at least 95 %  ( or put to 100% and lower it till the false triggers stop )

Second , make sure the motion is more accross the field of view instead of straight on to camera.

Third , the max distance for detection for people is about 20ft with the PIR that senses...so don't try to cover your whole yard thinking it will pick up people, try to cover aprox 80 % of the max range or about 16ft from camera
