Neatgear base unit is making a continuous quiet noise like a tinkling. Have not heard it before.

do a reset of the Q by holding in the reset button for about 10 secs till led flashes , then resync and test again

He says it's the base doing this.  Try power cycling the base.  Also, check carefully to ensure something else in the near vicinity isn't the culprit - maybe something with a fan or a slight vibration causing something to wobble slightly?

Thank you Tom for taking the trouble to help me. Good news! The noise has stopped. Maybe because I moved the base unit away from the phone.
