The night recording worked fine until I tried to make a schedule for it to record at night. It wouldn't let me make a schedule for between 10PM and 7AM. Always an X beside the time. I tried to remove the schedule, at least I thought I had. Now the camera will not record anything after 10PM. Only starts recording at daybreak. Night vision is on. I really don't want to reset the whole system.

Delete the old schedule and start over...
First, you can not go thru midnight on the schedule.
So in your case go from 10pm to 1159pm and on next day go midnight to 7am ( repeat for each day wanted )

Thank you on the schedule mode. I think I know now how to set it.
I have a problem with someone letting their dog use our front yard for their potty. It happened last Sunday night, but my camera did't catch them. I moved my motion detection up to 80% and my recording time to 30 seconds. Do you have any other suggestions on how I can set my camera to catch them?
I am thinking about setting my motion to 100% at night.

That would help, but also you may get to many false triggers...but it def may be worth the batteries !
Set up another mode ( add a mode ) for Night with a higer sense level... I have one with a lower sense levels for windy days , make it easy to swap in/out
