NEW app scheduling and modes

The NEW app doesn't seem to work well in the modes with scheduling, how do I get it to work like it did in the OLD app before the change over? It worked great it the OLD app but now it doesn't seem to do anything right. HELP with the set up! Support has been NO help at all.
