One of my Arlo cameras is recording to too long, making the batteries die quickly.

When I go into the settings, it shows the camera is set to record for 10 seconds. However, it actually records for 1:59 minutes!

What is the problem?

Do a battery pull and restart the camera. Does it still happen after that? If so, restart your base station. Does it still happen after that?

I did what you suggested and now it works properly. Thanks!

Well, that was short-lived! The camera is back to recording for 1:59 minutes again.

Now what?

cameraz,

Is this happening on every recording or is it intermittent?

Hi James,

It turns out that this problem is intermittent. Don't know why it would record 10 seconds some times and much longer at other times.
