I put new batteries into my camera, and the light is steady blue all the time.  I removed the device to try to resync it, and the camera will not sync.  The base station syncs fine.

When you hit sync on the base, the green LED should flash.

When you briefly hit sync on the camera, the blue LED should flash, not be steady

I get what you're saying, but the button does not function the way it should. When I hit the sync button on the camera the light stays blue. It does turn purple for a brief moment but that's it. There is no flashing all of the good life no matter how long they hold down the sync button.

Try opening and closing the battery door again to reset the camera. If that doesn't work you may need to remove the camera in Settings, My Devices and resync.

Go to the bottom of the page and Contact Support and open a support ticket. Sounds like you might have a faulty camera. Alternatively, take it back to the place you bought it from
