I'm sure this has been mentioned in the past, but one of the most frustrating things about the Arlo experience is that only one user can use the Arlo app at a time. This becomes very frustrating when my wife and I both get a notification about motion and proceed to kick each other off the app every time we check.
Is there no simple fix for this?

Using Friend access is the only solution now (setting "allow access rights"). https://kb.arlo.com/000039122/How-do-I-add-friends-to-my-Arlo-account

Yes, my wife has access already. That's not really a solution - even with granted access only one person can be on the app at one time (even from separate devices).

If you are using different account credentials, two devices can use the app simultaneously.

So if my wife creates her own Arlo account, I can grant her account access to our cameras and then we can both view simultaneously?

The development team is currently working on a new feature to allow multiple users to log in to the Arlo app simultaneously. Once this feature is available for everyone an announcement will be made here on the community.

This is very welcome @JamesC (providing, of course, that it works well and as intended)
@apicalforamen although your wife can create a new account and you can give her 'rights' of access, she won't be able to access local storage.
Let's hope this new feature, once implemented for all, enables access to local storage by all permitted within a household, rather than only one.
