I have also noticed in the last 12hours a couple of notifications but no recorded video. The rules correctly show recording is enabled and the next time the camera saw motion it recorded, feels quite random but never happened before the update.

Verify your RULES are still set the way you need them in the new MODES , ARMED / UNARMED
If you use the two new default modes, the rules contained within are default setting of time and sensitivity. ( btw in motion on the 'running man is BALCK and off is gray )
Your older Modes that were moved over should still contain your prior settings.

In my case the modes are correctly setup. It does not make sense that random recordings are missed when a notification is issued. However, everything has been fine in the last 24hrs so may a glitch with the server?

There's been a lot of things happening with the new bringing in of the Q cam support for Arlo system... It may be a bumpy road for a week.
