Does ARLO stop recording during motion detection if you start to view live?

Arlo doesnt execute motion detection recording if you are live viewing and motion is detected. however, if recording has been initiated before you try to access the camear for a live view, the recording will finish before you're able to see live video

 

first scenario is logical cos you can just hit record manually since youre live viewing... second scenario is a bit disappoiniting however...
