Motion detect not setting off recording on other camera - setup that way

I have motion detection set for one camera to trigger recording on another camera (screenshot in attached file). Problem is that it just isn't working. At all. Motion is detected on 311 (last 3 digits of camera name) and 311 records but it's also supposed to kick off recording on D6 (last 2 digits) camera but it just doesn't. What gives?

Try restarting the base and maybe reinsert the camera batteries. Try creating a new mode to see if that makes a difference.
