Hi

I have a VMB3010r2 that has worked fine until a few days ago - I see the green light for internet connection flashing periodically but the Arlo website and app both show it as offline.

 

How can I diagnose what's wrong?

May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have tried so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.

Hi

i have rebooted it and reseated the LAN cable prior to a reboot. oddly it worked for say 6 hours yesterday and then showed again as disconnected on my Arlo. I can see it has got an IP address and is connected on the LAN and other devices on the same VLAN are resolving DNS fine so am inclined to firewall issues. I note a new app was rolled out when this started and my iPhone is on a differentVLAN

I have also now added a VMB5000 - I see a blue light on the unit, I can see it on my DHCP server, it has registered with my.arlo.com but is not able to do a firmware upgrade and is shown as offline.

My firewall is blocking no outbound traffic and I see it flowing

 

What else do i need to check?
