I suspect that the phone is not set as a trusted device, check.

If you have to do this every time to login with the phone you need to set the Phone as a trusted device and you can also set it as your primary device if you want it to receive the push verification enable action.

On the arlo app go to settings/profile/two-step verification and edit to change the tick position.

This is true but the only option I have is to choose email or sms. How can i create a new trusted device? This is rubbish UX

Are you trying to use the phone to access the email code? You need another device for two factor verification.

Open the email on a pc or second device to place the phone as trusted then set the phone as the primary device to receive the push action request.

Where do you go to set the phone as a primary device? The only access I have is online. When I try to access it via mobile, the only options I have are SMS or email. Both give a code and no link. The code, when typed, is what is producing the error, "An Error has Occured. Please Try Again"

Are you using the arlo login website my.arlo.com?

You can’t access your cameras using Apple devices, you will need to use a pc web browser to show the dashboard and access the settings page.(once the phone has been trusted the phone app will start working.)

You will likely need to use the “use another method “ option at the bottom of the login page to send the trust  request email for the browser first.

once into the dashboard with your camera devices showing you can set the phone as mentioned previously.

What app UI experience are you using? Do you still have a library page or feed page.

If you have the app with a feed page it could be another app bug causing the issue. The new app experience still has lots of bugs.

I was getting this error as well, and did find a way around it.  I disconnected my phone from WIFI, leaving it on mobile data, then was able to login with my phone.  Why it worked, who knows, but it did.
