Since Arlo ended its e-mail notifications last Wednesday and my old iPhones doesn't always tell me of detected motions, I could use http://my.arlo.com but it logs me out due to its time out. Is there a way to disable or extend its time out?
Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. 🙂

The login timeout after no activity in the session is a security measure for if you forget to close out when you have to leave and the camera live view timeout is to save batteries. You can stay logged in as long as you do anything in the session within the timeout period.

Yeah i've tried everything to stay logged in however as a security measure it logs you out. When logged out i don't get desktop notifications so this is a little frustrating however its still keeping a record of everything in my feed.

I don't use the web client much but just switching views should reset the timer. That doesn't work for you?

That sounds great as an optional security measure. So how do we disable it if we don't want it?
And similarly, how can we disable logging out each instance whenever we log in from a different one? And disable the required confirmation when we log in from a "new" (which is usually not new) browser?
I understand why there are some people who might want these features, but many of us do not. All they serve to do is make the product vastly less usable.

Unfortunately you can't.
