Hello !

I just bought 5 camera system. My problem is , i have 2 camera in the house and i dont want them to be Armed. I just wanna keep those ON so remotly if i have to check on my kids , i can do.

The problem i am having is, i cant de-select both motion and audio.

it seems arlo app is not allowing to deselect both, atlest 1 has to be checked.

Same way, i can not deselect Push notification, I have to keep atlest 1 checked , either notification or email.

I think keeping those kills battery.

Also, i see my basement eats up battery in a week, Not more then that.

Any suggestations? The whole idea is to improve battery performance. I dont wanna keep chargin every week.

Thanks

You need to create a custom mode. Only add the cameras you want armed. The others inside will still be on but not armed bu default since you left them out. You can still live view the ones left out. I have this setup too as i dont need the cams inside armed while i am home. While away i just used the armed mode and go to the outside only mode when i get home

Any camera NOT in the active mode will be off.... thats what custom modes are all about, splitting up the cameras into groups as needed
