Is Arlo Wire-Free camera recording even when Internet is down?

Hi,

 

We have an Arlo Wire-Free Camera running on a schedule, but noticed that it did not record anything when our Internet connection was down, or, at least we cannot see if there was any recording from the Arlo web interface afterwards.

No internet connection = no recordings.

 

Video travels from cam to base to cloud server and back...it's stored in the cloud server.
