Which is it? A 6v or a 12v camera?

regardless of some sites on the internet... it basically is 6 v

The Arlo  runs on 2 cells in series with the second 2 in parallel .  The pairs of cells sort of flip-flop during usage to mantain a good level of current...when NEW the cells tho labled at 3v are really 3.2v so the two in series is 6.4V

When depleted, the cells all should read about 2.75v +/-... below that they don't have enough current to run the cam.

Awesome. I thought I was going craze. Thank you for clearing that up. The reason why I asked and wanted to make sure is. Why couldnt I attach a 6v solar panel to the Arlo camera with rechargable battries inside? Do you think it matters which battery I connect the solar panel to? Do you think the solar panel will charge all 4 or just those 2 battries?
