Ls,
About 2 weeks ago I installed a base station and a camera. The first week it worked perfect. But a few days ago the base station lost the internet connection. Whatever I do it doesn't work. The LAN light doesn't start burning/blinking, not even in amber. On the other side of the LAN cable in the router, there is a green light burning. So my idea is that there is something wrong with the LAN port of the base station.
What can I doe about that (besides going back to the shop and get another base station)?

So it must be in the base station I guess?
If you have tested the SAME port and cable on a different device and that device works, then yes it's on the base side ( the trouble/problem )
As to proper location Arlo trouble shooting goes here;

But, since you tried the reset and reboot and still no joy, I'd contact support at Netgear for a trouble ticket

The LEDS on the base ( from left side ) are POWER, INTERNET, CAMERAS.... and all three should be green.
The first thing to do is a reboot via the power button... takes about 2 mins +/- to reboot
If this doesn't fix it, the do a full factory reset.... This is with a paperclip - hold in the reset button (back of unit ) for about 10 secs till the front LEDs flash
You will then have to re-sync the cameras as if new.

it is obvious the Base station isn't getting internet.... ( as no second green led )
You stated the lan lost power at the beginning of this trouble.... Is it possible the lan is out?
Test the port and ethernet cable by plugging it in another device ( like laptop ) and see if the port outbound actually works.
BTW, this is in the ARLO Q section where it may confuse a reader
