Intermittent camera motion detect

The camera doesn't always detect motion.  Why?

Lots of reasons, usually based on position and angle.  The wireless cameras use a passive IR detector like most motion detection lights which require motion across the field of view, starting at an edge for best operation.  Motion towards the camera is much harder to detect.  There are FAQs here about how to aim - check them out. 

 

Too much scene for the camera is a frequent fault - aim the camera for only the actual area of interest. Post a screenshot for suggestions.
