Finally able to sign in (after issues) and ready to sync camera. Hold sync button 2 seconds like app install set up says to and I get no green light. What gives? Do I just try turning off the computer and turning it back on?
Do NOT hold the sync button for 2 seconds...
First you need the 2 left LEDs on as green ( power-interrnet )
Sign in to the account, use the add device, push the sync button on the base quickly and then 2 seconds later push the camera button... you should see a slow blue flash on cam, then later a quick blue flashing showing sync worked.

Got any advise on how to successfully sync a 5th camera to a 4 camera system that was currently active until I followed a techs advise to reboot base station. Now my base is showing inactive too after a reboot.
It seems every step I'm told to do, de-activates a current device. The level of frustration is growing, as by following step by step tech instructions, my system is now inactive..
Not a happy camper here.

Without knowing more, it may simply be faster to start fresh. Remove all devices from Settings, My Devices. Use the Add Device button on the Devices tab to add the base and sync the cameras. Be sure to only briefly press the base sync button - don't hold it. Things should work after that.
