I’ve read over and over the issue with people identifying their cameras for various reasons. New battery, they are adding more cameras, etc. Recommendations were to look on the app.. you can’t. It won’t simply call them what they are but rather model numbers and serial numbers that are useless. The other was a recommendation to visit the product page however you can use either two of the above numbers to search. I’ve contacted support, twice. They won’t get back to me. I ordered 3 batteries (which makes me sound extremely uneducated and unfamiliar with technology) but I assure you I’m not. Can anyone help me find where to find out if I’m using the Arlo, Arlo pro 2, Arlo 4??? You get the idea lol. I have a mishmash of cameras which is my issue

How far back do you need to go? The original wireless cameras take 4 CR123 batteries and have a silver ring around the face. The Pro has a rechargeable square battery and has a black ring while the Pro 2 is virtually the same but has a white ring. The newer cameras including the Ultras, Pro 3 and Pro 4 are visually the same so looking in the battery compartment for a VMC number (the "C" is for a camera) would be needed to tell the difference. You could then just Google for that model and see what pops up if you don't know.

I agree that the model should be in the camera info. I name the cameras as I install them with the model ("Ultra neighbors" for instance) to make it easier.

After that it gets a bit harder...

I put a notation on the camera with a sharpie pen with the number of model

As a side note, I put in the name ( on app/web ) the last date I changed the battery ;

exp: rear yard (3-15)
