I was given a NETGEAR security camera and tried to register but cannot find devices

I was given a netgear security camera system. I register my system on Arlo, but it cannot find the devices. I don"t know what I am doing wrong. Pls help.

Do you know if the previous owner has removed them from their account. It could be that they are still locked.
