I use Windows 10 and view through web client. Do I need to download new Arlo app?

I use windows 10. The only way I view my cameras is on my computer at arlo.netgear.com.

I also receive auto emails each time a camera is activated.

Do I need to download the new app.?

I do not have app now on my phone or computer.

I do have a netgear router.

You don't need the app.  You do need to switch from arlo.netgear.com to my.arlo.com.  You are being re-directed to my.arlo.com now, but at some point in the future Netgear will probably stop doing that.
