My system worked fine with the old app, and they work with Arlo's new app. The problem is: I can't get any schedule to work with the new app. My cameras were set up to come on at 9PM and go off at 6AM with the old app. I have followed the instructions right from Arlo on creating a schedule with the new app, but they still won't come on and go off. With the old app, I had to set cameras to come on a 9PM, go off at 11:59pm, back on at 12AM, then off at 6AM to have the 9PM to 6AM schedule. Do I need to do the same thing with the new app, I didn't read where I needed to do that? I realize my cameras are 6 years, going on 7 years old, and need to replace them, but they still should work with he new app until I do replace them. Can someone talk me through setting up my cameras to come on at 9PM and go off at 6PM using this new app.

It's generally simpler with the new interface but is different, regardless.
You need to start a mode with each schedule and then create a different schedule that starts a different mode at the "stop" time (in the old parlance). That means any schedule runs until another one starts.
In your case, create a schedule that starts at 9PM with whatever mode it requires. Then create a second schedule that starts at 6AM and switches to the Standby mode (make sure that mode is properly configured with either no rules or only those for cameras you want armed during the day.

I don't see where this is simplier. I'm totally confused on what you said. This is what I did, and it's Arlo's own instructions and it didn't work:
This article is for the Arlo Secure App with Feed. If you have the Arlo Secure App with Library, visit: How can I set a schedule for my camera in my Arlo account?
You can create one or more Schedule Automations to take different actions for your Arlo system based on the time of day, and day of the week.
- The Schedule Automations feature allows your system to take actions such as Change Mode, Record a Video, or Adjust Device Settings.
Configuration
- A Schedule Automation allows you to take one or more Actions at one specific time of the day, on one or more days of the week.
- Schedule Automations recur on a weekly basis. You can also set the time to the sunrise or sunset time for your location.
- You can set a Schedule Automation to only take action when your system is set to a specific Mode.
- You may create multiple Schedule Automations to trigger different actions at separate times.
Note: In configurations where you would like to have actions occur at different times of day, you will need to set up separate Schedule Automations, one for each time of day an action should occur.
For example, if you want an automation to set the mode for your system to Arm Away at 9:00am Monday through Friday, and then set the mode to Arm Home starting at 4:00pm Monday through Friday, you will need to set up two separate Schedule Automations.
- Create one Schedule Automation for Change Mode to Arm Away at 9:00am.
- Create a second Schedule Automation for Change Mode to Arm Home at 4:00pm.
To create a Schedule Automation:
- Launch the Arlo Secure App or log in to your Arlo account at my.arlo.com.
- Tap or click Routines.
- Tap or click
- Tap or click Add Schedule.
- Select which days of the week you would like the Schedule Automation to occur.
- Set the time for the Schedule Automation to occur.
Alternately, you can set the time to match the sunrise or sunset for your location.
For information on configuring the Sunrise/Sunset feature on Schedule Automations, visit: How does the Sunrise/Sunset feature work for my Scheduled Automation on my Arlo System? - Tap or click Add Action. Select the action you would like to occur at the selected time and configure the Action.
- Tap or click Next or Save on the Action configuration screen.
- Choose the device that you would like to use for the Action and tap or click Next.
- Enter a name for the Schedule Automation.
We recommend using a name that reflects the function of the automation. For example, if the automation is to set Arm Away in the morning during weekdays, name the automation "Arm Away Weekday Mornings". - If you would like to have the Schedule Automation only occur when your system is in a specific mode, tap or click Always Enabled to change which modes are enabled. All three modes are enabled by default.
- If you would like to more than one Action take place at the specified time, tap or click Add Action.
Tap or click Save. Your new schedule automation is saved

I'm not sure how to make it clearer than what I already stated:
You need to start a mode with each schedule and then create a different schedule that starts a different mode at the "stop" time (in the old parlance). That means any schedule runs until another one starts.
In your case, create a schedule that starts at 9PM with whatever mode it requires. Then create a second schedule that starts at 6AM and switches to the Standby mode (make sure that mode is properly configured with either no rules or only those for cameras you want armed during the day.
This starts Arm Away (for instance - it depends on how your modes are configured but Arm Away has all cameras set up in it by default) at 9PM. All cameras will be armed until another schedule runs which would be at 6AM which would be configured to switch to the Standby mode (which would have NO rules in it). There's no "stop" time involved - each schedule runs until another one switches to a different mode.

First, confirm that "Arm Away" and "Arm Home" arm all your cameras, and the "Standby" disarms them all.
Then you want to create two schedule automations. One switches the system to "Standby" at 6 am. The second switches the system to "Arm Home" at 9 pm. Note these are triggers that run at 6 am and 9 pm. There is no need to worry about the transition over midnight with this approach.
You can use these two screenshots as models. The only thing you'd need to change is the times - changing sunrise to 6 am and sunset to 9 pm).
Pay attention to the two enable lists (right below the automation names). In the screenshots they say "Arm Home, Standby". It's important that you have them set that way.
When you want to leave on holiday/vacation, you can manually set the system to "Arm Away". When you do this, the cameras will stay armed 24x7 until you manually set the mode to "Arm Home" or 'Standby". Then it will start following the schedule again.

Hi Stephen
Mine right now have " Home Away," "Arm Home", and "Standby" as the enabled lists. Did I do something wrong when I set this up? I set the on time ( 9PM ) as just Home Away only, and the off time ( 6AM ) as Standby only. I don't know why it's showing all three. Also, I notice yours are named, "am disarm" and pm armed. I have no names for mine, so again, I think I did something wrong when I set these times up.

Yes. Go into the "Arm Away" mode settings, and disable the schedule automations there.
If you leave them enabled in Arm Away, then the schedule will continue running while you are away from home.

Are you saying that you changed the mode to "Home Away" at 9 pm, and changed the mode to Standby at 6 am? If so, that is correct.

You should be able to go into the settings for each automation and put in a name.

What a pain these Arlo cameras and new app are. I have done everything that was recommended and they still don't work when programmed. I set the cameras to come on at 9PM using Arm Home & Standby. Then I set the cameras to go off at 6AM under Arm Home & Standby. Arm Home & Arm Away has all 5 cameras. The cameras never came on at 9PM and the app shows that it is still in the standby mode. WHY??????????????

I don't know how to post screenshots. I took pictures with my phone, but when I upload them, they are sideways and I can't get the right. I'm 72 and not very computer knowledgeable on some things. Please bear with me.

What model phone do you have?
Your screenshots look correct.
To get the schedule to work, you need to kick-start it by putting the system into either "Standby" (during the day) or "Arm Home" (at night).
If it was in "Standby" during the day, it should have shifted to "Armed Home" at 9 pm. You should see this shift on the "Feed" page (saying something like "9:00 pm Arm Home Activated"). So maybe look on that page, and see the transistions to "Arm Home" and "Standby" are showing up there.

It shows in the Standby mode now. The cameras didn't come on at 9PM last night, it was like 9:10PM but the feed shows they did come on at 9PM......very odd.!! They did go into standby mode this morning, so hopefully everything is set correctly now. Thank you again for all your help.

If you want to get a screenshot of what is on your phone, then you can press and quickly release the side and volume down buttons at the same time. The screenshot should show up in gallery->albums->screenshots.
With windows, there are a couple of ways. Pressing the Windows Logo Key + Shift + S will work with Windows 11.
You should also have a Print Screen (prt sc) button somewhere on the keyboard. Often you need to press another key together with that one - but this depends on exactly where that print screen key is.
