I Cannot Update Firmware On My Camera

After multiple attempts to update one of my two cameras from 1.2.9561 to 1.3.314 and spending 20 minutes on the phone with customer support I'm not able to update this camera. Model VMS3430 Blinking light on the camera from amber -blue during updating process but it won't complete this update. Customer support is telling me to 1) swap batteries from working camera #1 2) keep camera #2 by base station for a ""couple of days" 3) attempt firmware update at 3:00-4:00 am Sounds crazy but I'll give it a try. Anyone have any other ideas would be helpful and appreciated.. Thank you.

Reboot the base. Remove the camera from Settings, My Devices and resync.
