How to make only one camera turn off motion with geofencing. I only want my living room camera to turn off when I’m at home, not all my outside cameras.

There may be some other way to do this, but I found it best to buy an additional Arlo Pro Base Station (I use Arlo Q, Arlo Pro, Arlo Pro 2's) with a Wifi Range Extender (or mesh). I linked the second Base Station to the original Base Station closest to my Router. I registered those cameras covering the outside to the second Base Station since the exterior cameras are closer to it. The cameras that cover the interior are registered to first Base Station, in my case the one closest to the Router. In this way I have increased range and or improved signal strength of the camera connections to their Base Stations.

I leave the interior cameras set to disarm via Geofencing when I am home, while the cameras covering the exterior are left armed. I do get some alarm notices when coming home or departing, but it's a small nuisance compared to forgetting to manually set a camera to on or off.

  1. You create a custom mode (perhaps called OUTDOOR), which has rules for the outdoor cameras but not the indoor one. https://kb.arlo.com/1085093/How-does-Arlo-Geofencing-work-and-how-do-I-set-it-up
  2. Then you set up geofencing to make ARMED be the "away" mode, and OUTDOOR be the "home" mode.  https://kb.arlo.com/1085093/How-does-Arlo-Geofencing-work-and-how-do-I-set-it-up
