Any idea on how I can extend the recording time past 10 seconds?  I have found posts that include detailed instructions in this forum but  I don't have an edit pencil next to anything on my app except the schedule.

Sounds like you're using an account that was granted access rather than the master account. You have to use the latter to be able to edit modes.

To change from the default, you must edit the MODE you arm the camera with ...under record video

the max recording time is in the sw, up to 300 secs.... the camera will reset for new motion ( about 10 secs ) and start the record cycle over if motion triggers again.

if you do a manual record, it will go for 30 mins before shut down.

This are really not designed for 24/7 recording.

I do not have any area to extend video under Modes as explained earlier?  Very frustrating

Read the FAQs here first. Tons of info there. Go to the Mode tab, click on you base and edit your modes.
