How does edge computing impact battery life for Arlo cameras?

Hello everyone,

I have been using Arlo cameras for my home security and I am curious about the impact of edge computing on the battery life of these cameras. I would appreciate any insights or experiences you have had with this.

I have done some research and found that the battery life of Arlo cameras varies depending on usage. Excessive usage is the most common cause of battery drain. I have also found that the average battery life for an Arlo Go camera is more than one month, depending on mobile signal strength.

However, I have not been able to find any information on how edge computing impacts the battery life of Arlo cameras. I am hoping that someone in this community has some knowledge or experience with this.

I don't see where edge computing has anything to do with these cameras. The only computing the camera does is when plugged into AC power and using activity zones. Otherwise, it's done on the servers.
