How Do I know If The Camera Is On?

how do you tell if camera is ? is there a light that comes on? does the intruder know if he is being filmed? does he know if camera is off or on?

There is no indication the camera is on to a person looking at it...

exception is in dark if the night vision is enabled, then the IR LEDs glow a faint red.
