Has anyone used a cam and solar panel on a tree? Recs for attaching?

Trees will grow into whatever you screw in, so I’m looking to see if anyone has had success for a strap or alternative method for attaching to a tree.

    A strap would be grown around, too. However, it's a slow process so you could check it a couple times a year and back screws out or relax the strap.
