Got message to update VMB3010 to 1.12.2.8_556 but will not start from app.

Got a message to update my VMB3010 to 1.12.2.8_556 but it will not start from my app, says it's starting however stops after about a minute. Do I need to do anything else? unplug from main power supply? Not sure what to do next!

Rebooting the base usually helps.
