Got added to my family’s Arlo Account, but i’m only getting notifications and cannot see the cameras

Just a few days ago, a family member sent me a link to join their group so that I could view our home cameras and turn them on or off if needed. However, all I get are notifications for the cameras and I can’t see them at all on my dashboard. My family member has given me access but it seems to not be working, how do i fix this issue?

It sounds like the app interfaces aren't matched.

 

Check if the primary account shows "Library" as an option in the app.  I'm thinking yours shows "Feed" and "Dashboard", but not "Library".

 

If that is the case, the only solution is to migrate the primary account to "Feed".  They can do that by going into "add device" and starting to add a Pro 5s or Home Security system.  That will fail of course, since they don't own those devices.  But they will get a prompt to migrate to "Feed".

 

The "Feed" interface is quite different from what they have now, and there are some bugs and limitations that Arlo still needs to address.  Unfortunately, once they migrate to "Feed' there is no way to revert back if they don't like it.
