Giving system to a family member...

We are giving our current system to a family member due to new living situation. Anyhow, how do we completely reset everything for them so that they can activate their own Arlo account?

First a full factory reset is prob in order....

 

  • Perform a factory reset on your base station. 

    Push the Reset button (on the back of the base station) and the Sync button (on the side of the base station) for about 10 seconds or until all the LED lights on the base station blink amber. This procedure returns the base station to its factory settings. If your cameras were synced to the base station, you might need to sync the cameras again after the base station comes back online. Then setup a new account. If a problem setting up the new account, you may have to contact Netgear to 'clear' the serial number of the base in their servers...
