Had an S21, stopped working.  Now use a Z4 Flip, and it still always thinks I am home.  I have made sure only the Z4 is selected in the Geofencing section. All permissions and setting are correct. I have read and followed every article about this I can find here and on Google.  Something else is going on.  If Arlo can't fix it I will be forced to dump it and change to something out.

Can you delete the old phone (use the Edit selection when the various phones are displayed). If a phone isn't logged into the app, GF will fail (my wife rarely uses the app so GF thinks she's not at home).

I just removed the other phone.  I'll see if that works and post back. Thanks for the tip.

No joy.  Arlo app still thinks the phone is home.

GF requires the phone to detect and pass the info to the Arlo app. Is the app's location permission allowed all the time and using precise location?

 

Recent posts seem to be about Samsung phones having issues which kinda makes me think Samsung has made changes to something that is causing problems.

Are you still experiencing this with the latest version of the Arlo app 4.0.4?

Problem persists. Downloaded the new version and while away it still thinks I am home.

Why ask me if I am still experiencing trouble if you don't then respond?   

 

I am going to have to switch to another company if this isn't resolved.

Is this occurring with version 4.1.1? I have requested for an update from the team regarding the issue.

4.1.2_28515.  Was not working with the earlier version, either.
