Geofencing issue

All of a sudden after years of trouble free geofencing, my Arlo will arm once I leave the area, and once I renter the zone it disarms, but every single time says ‘your geofencing settings have changed, please open the app to sync new settings’ and then switches the mode to disarm, instead of using the custom mode I have specified for when I am at home. It then completely breaks the geofencing and will not automatically arm if I leave again until I open the app, switch to any mode other than geofencing, and then switch back to geofencing mode. It does this literally every single time! If I don’t open the app after returning home initially, it simply stays in the disarmed mode until the app is opened again. I have an iPhone 13 pro max, everything is up to date, location settings on the phone are all enabled for the Arlo secure app, it simply seems to have completely stopped working, which is really frustrating. Any assistance would be appreciated.
