When I come back home and stepping into the radius set in the app, the app sends me an alert confirming "you have entered the home geofencing zone".
I get to my apartment about 5 min later and when I step into my apartment, the camera still records my movements. A minute or two after getting in the apartment, and after getting an alert that movement has been detected, I get another alert finally confirming that "Geofencing at Home is now home mode".

Why is home mode set as soon as I get in the geofencing zone, this not record me entering my apartment?

I don't suppose you had the same issue as others have had where the library has update with the video of you entering your apartment a few hours after the event?

No, I have not. The video usually appears a minute or two after the event. Not much of an issue on that front.

clazarre,

This is odd, if you are getting that alert, that indicates your device has been detected within the location radius and the mode should be switched to Home. After getting the alert, open the app and check to see if the mode has switched to your "Home" mode or if it's still set to "Away"

Hi JamesC, if i open the app upon receiving the first alert, the mode does indeed switch. But then if i open the app before getting to my apartment after receiving the first alert, i no longer have that problem. Meaning my only solution so far, is to open the app when i receive the first alert, which, in my view, defeats the purpose of having the status change automatically based on Geofencing....

That cant be right (unless i'm missing something)...
