  • Since the app upgrade the geofence doesn't work correctly. It was fine before. 2 phones set up. Now, it does arm away when we both leave, but does not arm home when either of us arrive at home. It also is, numerous times per day, randomly arming away when one it both of us is at home. I have fiddled and fiddled with the app and it phones. Followed the troubleshooting steps. This is extremely frustrating, enough to make me want to throw the cameras out and buy a different brand. Arlo, if that was your goal with this app update, to get us on the free plan to drop, bravo.

If you can let us know how you would like the Geofencing set up we can walk you through that.

We have 2 devices. Want it set up so that when one or both of us leave it arms away and when one or both of us arrive home it arms home.

I also doesn't work when device one left and then a few hours later device two left, it never armed away.

Make sure both phones open the Arlo app at least every 2 weeks. If not, the app is logged out which breaks the ability to track location. I had to get my wife to do this since she doesn't pay much attention to the cameras.
