The system is five weeks old and I'm getting ready to dump this product. Signal strength was three bars or higher for all cameras. Uuage has been minimal. I have reset all cameras and resynched and it did not help. The system has also gone offline several times and I have needed to unplug and plug in power to base station.

Any suggestions???

It could be a bad base. Others have battled issues for months that replacing the base ultimately fixed. You need to create a trouble ticket to get a replacement.

DH29,

There are many conditions that can cause battery life to vary when using Arlo wire-free cameras. Usage and distance from the base station being the most common factors. Take a look at this article outlining how usage and distance from the base can affect battery life: What is the battery life for NETGEAR Arlo wireless cameras and how can I extend their life?

When you say the system has gone offline several times, what is indicating that it has gone offline? Are you seeing an error message or does the internet LED on the base change from solid green?

I do not recall what the status of the lights on the base station were. I will have to wait for the next time. Thanks for the suggestions. I will have to order more batteries and try again...
