Please escalate fixing the connected device feature for friends and family. A second device can see activity notifications once, but they cannot access live feed, library or settings without logging into the main account. Doing so logs the other device out, so it is not possible in either case for two adults to manage the security of the home. This is a functionality flaw that needs improvement.

This doesn't seem like a better solution, since afterwards both users have less functionality. The request is to have the software developers generate a real fix - though I do appreciate customer support trying to share a workaround. This will take time and manager approval to resolve.

Usually this is because the main account is using the old "Library" interface, and the friend account is using the new "Feed" interface. (The old interface has "Library" as a menu option, the newer one has "Feed" and "Dashboard" instead).
If this is your situation, you can resolve it by migrating the "Library" account to "Feed". The way to do this is to go into "add device" and start to add a Pro 5s camera. This will fail, because you don't own one. But the workflow will migrate you to "Feed" before it fails.
There are some downsides to "Feed". Two are
- There are no custom modes. Instead there are three built-in modes that you can edit.
- Users report challenges with setting up schedules and with geofencing.

FWIW, everyone will be migrated to Feed at some point. Arlo is phasing out Library.
