i have just installed my 2 new cameras today.

almost straight away it said there was a camera update and did i want to update all cameras firmware to which i pressed yes.  it came back after a while saying 'error triggering basestation update'.

so, few questions.

firstly, any ideas why it wouldnt update?

second, how do i make it prompt me to update again? last time i went into the app it asked again but again failed.  i cant see an option anywhere in the settings to get it to update and there isnt an option to auto update. when i go into the settings there is a red triangle next to the camera icon.

third, is it worth updating anyway? i have just read a post that suggests the latest update stopped the cameras working.

i'm using the android app and the firmware on them is 1.2.2688. in case it matters the basestation is 1.7.3_5005.

Ok.. the base is current sw, the camera should be 1.2.4941

You can restart the base via the power button and then see if the prompt to update comes back... if it does click it and wait overnight as most of the updates are done in the wee hours.. either way before going further, I'd wait overnight.
