Fios Modem or Asus AP?

I have an Asus RT-AC68U access point connected to my Fios modem/router (fios wifi turned off). My Fios modem handles the DCPH, firewall but don't support AC and my Asus is dual band and supports wireless N & AC.

 

Which one is better to connect the ARLO base? I have ports available on both.

Try it with the one most central to you camera locations... both should work.
