The feed on my app and desktop login stopped working as of March 6. All devices are live and operational. Anyone else have this problem? My app is version 6.18.0 (20064), release February 27, 2026.

I understand the frustration, our development team is hard at work on a fix for this behavior. I do apologize there is not a resolution as of today, however we are working to have one soon.

I have reached out to our development team to investigate this behavior. I will be reaching out with updates as soon as possible.

I view any of five cameras and they say live with red dot. When I stop viewing they say 4 d ago. Have updated app on 3 Samsung devices. All cameras after viewing say 4d ago.

DO you have a subscription for the cameras? Can you live view and manually record?

Same issue here - been there, done all that, no affect... Arlo strikes again... they just do things without thinking and wait for customers to "test" new versions and then complain...
Also, the push notification I used to receive when I manually change modes has disappeared... I'm sure there are other messed up things, too, always are in every version...

Same here, and as usual it's ALWAYS the user's fault, never did Arlo screw ANYTHING up!

iOS or Android? Be aware that the suggestions previously posted seem to be an AI-generated post.
A common suggestion is to remove one camera and add it back to see if that helps.

Yup - always the user's fault. The web portal isn't any better.
Long ago and far away, back the the Netgear days, early on, Arlo actually worked, was stable, was there when you needed it, didn't miss triggers like people or cars going by.
It was fast and reliable.
Now if I want to know what's going on, I look out a window or go outside - it's faster than waiting for cameras to spin up. Maybe Arlo works for people with one or two cameras, I wouldn't know, I have a lot of cameras and pay for a subscription and still it's painful as all get out.
Sure, people say get new (different) cameras but that would cost me a fortune.
I feel like I'm being held hostage.

Not sure anyone will see this, Arlo tends to censor my posts, won't display my replies...

App is not refreshing the live images and when I get back to the app the feed shows older videos. Before it would auto fresh a live feed.
Also if I have 4 stations how can I arm one individually without arming it all on the app?

I have logged out on all 3 devices that have the current arlo app installed. I have deleted cache and data on all devices. I have taken power off of all 5 cameras. The status still says 6 days ago when Arlo update occurred and broke the security of my system. How can Arlo call the app arlo secure when they have made the system un-secure. Now anyone can view my cameras and I have no record of when any of my 5 cameras were viewed. Arlo needs to fix this security breach immediately!

Today your best option is to put each one in its own location. If you have a subscription now, you'd need one per location (which is really painful).
But custom modes is starting to roll out, so it'd be better to just wait until that is stable. that will restore the functionality you had with the old interface.

For a while they tried to have the thumbnails refresh if they were more than 8 hours old (or when the app was started). That generated a lot of pushback in the forum, as there were cases where this was happening even when the cameras were not armed. That creates obvious privacy issues, especially with cameras mounted indoors. So Arlo changed that behavior back.

I've been using Arlo since the very early days (I started using early 2017, Pro came out in Oct 2016). Any suggestions which entail "start from scratch" in any way, shape or form have never garnered positive results. Has never fixed a single thing. Been there, done that - exercise in futility, waste of time.
And I am actively using 15 cameras right now with 3 base stations, so, yeah, reset everything is truly a major time suck.
It's not "the user" it's Arlo - always has been, always will be.
The behavior I'm exhibiting at present is that the device tab in the Android app (Samsung S21 Ultra 5G with Android 15) is that it will ONLY display the LAST active image for triggers OR manual snapshot. Not live from views.
It will NOT show the last activity if you do a live view of a camera. I frequently check what is going on outside by doing a live view on cameras. I often rely on that live view thumbnail which USED to be displayed on the devices tab from when I last did a live view. Now, even though nothing has changed with my system except Arlo's whack backend changes and wonky Android app updates, I no longer see last camera activity from live views. The image displayed is last activity for ONLY last trigger OR last manual snapshot.
So, If I do a live view on a camera many times over a couple weeks during which there has been NO trigger OR manual snapshot, then what I will see is the LAST trigger or manual snapshot even if it's a month or more ago. I will not see an image of the last time I initiated a live view.
That's absurd, IMHO.
Web portal is buggy, unstable and extremely inconvenient, but it displays the same behavior as Android, so again backend changes Arlo made for which no one requested. Or perhaps they got flooded with requests to change the behavior to one which holds no logic, but I am in sincere doubt of this.
If I didn't have so many cameras, then I would have bought something else long ago.
The only good thing I can say about Arlo is that their (older) hardware can stand 110+ degree fahrenheit heat (rarely go offline unless it gets over 115, even then, depending on location, only 1 or 2 will go offline until it "cools" down), I have yet to fry any (older) cameras. That's pretty darned amazing given the extremes of the desert. They have even been attacked by disagreeable Gila woodpeckers who, at times, will mercilessly peck at them, yet still they function.
I never rely on Arlo though, it doesn't work when I need it to work, the AI can't tell a boulder from an animal, or a cactus from a person, misses people walking by and huge trucks rolling through but will pickup a collard lizard scurrying across the driveway or a tarantula hawk wasp flying by a camera.

Two different iPhones now both started having the same problems since the recent changes to the Arlo Secure App were made.
Whenever I open a camera to look at it, it shows some view from days ago, not just my last view of a couple hours earlier.
If I power off & on the Secure App, a same camera will show a past view from yet a different date that time.
And no…it is not my equipment, not my location, not my fault, etc, etc, etc.
I have top notch equipment, and everything was working OK until secure app 6.18.0 and 6.18.1 versions were installed.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the complete secure app …no help.
I’ve gone through and done all the camera resets…no help.
The constant never-ending poor quality issues with arlo secure app are disgusting !

The issue of stale tiles is a well known one. However, it does happen on some phones but not others. For example, I don't have this problem. Arlo implemented a temporary fix whereby tiles would refresh every 6 hours or so, but this was unpopular with users/the community, and so this was removed later.

Been using these 2 iPhones every day for 3-4 years...never had this problem before.
Then secure App version 6.18.0 installed and the problems started immediately.
Then 48 hours later another secure App version ( 6.18.1 ) came out quickly.
I assumed it was a fix for this problem but evidently not.
Well, I'll wait to hear for the latest official Arlo position on this.
But I surely won't go buy 2 new iPhones because of more Arlo quality problems.

All 10 of my cameras in 2 states show a random old still image following a recording event or live view. Might be from hours ago, days ago or months ago, but I never get a "just now" image. Android phone. Husband's Iphone does not have the problem. I have done EVERY remedy recommended on the internet, nothing works. Tried Arlo support chat, waited a long time, finally got to the "next up/zero wait" position but no agent ever came online. Frustrating. How do I get the device images to update to last live view or recording event?

Since the last recent update in March my Samsung Android phone started having blurry thumbnails. Now it won't refresh them. I can only see current views if my husband manual records on his iPhone. We share the account. I've tried all kinds of things with no luck. Clearing data only worked temporarily. Hopefully Arlo is working on a fix?

I am having problems with my thumbnails not updating since this same version installed. Everything else seems to work for me including the feed but all my thumbnails stick on the last recording or live view my husband initiated on his iPhone. We share the account. I have a Samsung Android phone so that seems to be the problem. We have a bunch of old Pro 2 phones and one Essential with no subscription. Hope you got yours fixed. I used Grok AI and tried all it's suggestions. No luck...
