I have just bought the Arlo system and plan to mount the cameras externally on brick. I have a couple of questions:

1. Are these weatherproof?

2. What mason drill bit would we need to mount with the anchor?

Thank you.

1) yes they are

2) I wouldn't use the plastic anchor in brick if possible, those are for wallboard ( tho they might work ).

What you should use is a metal ( lead, I believe) anchor in brick .... check with you local hardware store like ACE.   The drill bit is sized to the size of the lead anchor being used... it doesn't have to be a large one, just to support <  1 lb.

the camera works well against metal ( magnetic properties ) as a test for temp use

a good read for your brick mounting ... and yes some of the newer holders are plastic ( but not the ones in the package )
