I have removed the email address from a set of rules and modes and still getting the notices. I even delted rules with the email in them and recreated them but no change. What do I need to do to stop this from being sent?

Mayb e you didn't save at each step? Go back and check whether any emails have a black check mark and be sure to save multiple times, one for the emails and one for the rule.
