I would like to know if I can download footage directly to Dropbox.

I forgot who, but one of the big boys aka superusers made availabe a script you can schedule/use to download a whole days vids.  You can select the download folder so if you set your download folder to be your pc's dropbox folder, I think it would then be uploaded to your dropbox folder.

Another advantage of this script is it chages the file name from epoch time to "normal" date/time

one thing I like about the script is it's well commented and therefore easy to customize.

One change I made was I put the cam name after the timestamp part of file name rather than leave it with file name coming first because for me when was more of interest than which cam

I used windows scheduler to run the scrpt hourly for current date.

In the morning I run a copy I modified for previous date to catch the recordings after I go to bed (and turn pc off).
