I downloaded a video multiple times from the Arlo App, and even though it said "Downloaded" I cannot find it (under videos, downloads, images or whatever).
Now it has been erased and it was an extremely important and dear video to me (last time I saw my pet).
a) where can I find the video?
b) is it another one of Arlo's bugs (mic doesn't seem to work at all on my model)
c) Arlo, will you restore my video from 10 January?

Do you have a paid subscription? If not, the recordings are only kept for 7 days.
Once deleted (whether manually or because retention has been exceeded), they cannot be recovered. Though if you have USB storage connected to your base station, the recording might still be on the USB storage device.

You can try a search for *.mp4 in a file manager to see if you can locate the video.
