Disabling cameras without the app

If i were to unplug the power cord from the arlo box would the cameras or floodlight still record and save video? if so how could i disable the cameras without using the app.

Unplugging the base disables all communication with the cameras so no recording. It will cause the cameras to rapidly deplete the batteries since they will now be trying to connect to the nonexistent base.

 

Arlo is a cloud-based system, including your account, so Internet access is required for you to manage the system as well as to allow the system to work in the first place.
