I'm unable to change the order of cameras when viewing "Devices" on my iPhone using Arlo App 6.3.0 or my laptop using "https://my.arlo.com/#/cameras_new"

In both cases clicking on the three dots allows me to move the images but after clicking "Done" the images return their original order and an Error message: 'Device order change failed'. I have tried deleting the app and re-installing it, but same problem.

Try and via the web browser ( firefox works for me )...

go to DEVICES

Hit "3 dots" on upper right

Screen should show wiggling cameras which you "drag - drop" for order

Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

That’s the last sentence of the original post.

I’m having the same issue.

What phone, OS and app version are you using?

It is working for me on an iPhone 12 mini running iOS 26.5.  The app version is 6.31.1.

6.31.1 on an iPhone 16 Pro Max. I get the same error as the OP when trying this on my iPad as well.

Can you update the firmware and see if you still see the same behavior?

I have two base stations, firmware is current on both of them. I don’t see a way to update camera firmware on each camera.

Go to each camera's settings to click on Device Info, Firmware to check for updates.

Have you tried that lately?

I am not seeing the check for update option anymore for many of my cameras. I am seeing them for some though.

For instance, the original Ultras don't have it, though the Ultra Gen 3 models do.  The Pro 6 has it, Some essentials have it (for instance the VMC3050 and VMC3070), as does the outdoor pan-tilt.   But not the AVD1001, the Wired Floodlight, the VMC2050 essential,  Pro 2,  or the VMC3052.  That last one is odd, since the VMC3050 still does show it.

As you know, I use the iOS app.  Edge just shows "no updates available" for all my devices (with no check for update control for any of them).

@Hog72712:  I am wondering if @BrookeN meant to say "update the app".  I have 6.34 on my iPhone, so likely there is something newer than 6.31 available for you.

I should have specified, yes I did mean to update the app.
