Could not add Arlo 4500 hub to my account

Bought an arlo 4500 hub ant tried to add to my account. Total failure. Tried everything arlo suggested.  Still failure  in desperation asked Bard, the Google experimental ai. Suggested turn off  my vpn, the only thing I hadn't tried. Still no joy 

In desperation while still not connected to vpn I did yet another hardware reset and then tries again. To my immense relief the app found the hub almost immediately!

Just hope this helps someone.

For other users who may be experiencing this issue, when setting up a new Arlo account and/or adding Arlo devices to an account, we do not recommend using a VPN.
