So I have the model vsm 3330c.  Can the Base Station connect to my Verizon router wirelessly?

NO, ...the Arlo and Arlo Pro cameras must connect to the base re wifi and the base must connect to your router via Ethernet cable

( base creates its own wifi network for cameras )

If you want to locate your base station somewhere away from your router, you could buy a range extender that has an ethernet port. You could then plug the base station into that and the range extender connects to the router via wifi. Make sure you get a decent one as you don't want major speed drops or lag
