Connecting to a telstra dongle

how do i connect to a Testra wireless dongle 

have tried to connect the usb directly into the base station no luck

have tried to connect ethernet cable to laptop docking station with dongle connected to the docking station still no internet connection on netgear base station

have suck down computer and restarted still no internet coonection

You can't....

The base needs a direct ethernet port ( to internet ) form your router or switch.

The only other way is to use a wifi extender with an ethernet port ( for the base ) if you can tether it to the wireless access point.
